Overview, Profile & Expertise
CCRG was formed 16 years ago with the specific intent of supplying clinical research expertise to the pharmaceutical industry. At present CCRG is made up of a group of 12 commercially aware, research-orientated general practitioners who have considerable expertise in Phases II-IV in many therapeutic areas.
CCRG principally functions as a co-operative so as to ensure that if there are any unforeseen difficulties, any investigator within the group can easily take up the slack and still ensure recruitment meets initial deadlines. This is ensured by excellent communication between individual investigators and the co-operative nature of the group gives additional confidence at predicting patient numbers at the outset and during feasibility testing.
CCRG prides itself in recruiting the target number of patients well within agreed timelines and also has a significant track record of rescuing failing studies from other organisations.
